YouTube Music - two different ways

New to Wiim....just purchased a Pro Plus (paired with an amp I have) plus an Amp (driving speakers on my enclosed porch). YouTube Music is my main music source.

I'll ask some perhaps naive questions as I'm new to the platform. I've noted there are two different ways to "access" YTM:

1. In the Wiim app, hit "Browse" at the bottom, then select "YouTube Music" under music services. This takes me to a screen with "music", "podcasts" and "library" at the top. When I play a song and hit the three dots at the top, my options are limited.

2. Start the YouTube Music app to play a song as normal, then hit the ChromeCast icon at the top and select my speaker(s). When I hit the three dots at the top, I have all the normal options including add to queue, save to playlist, play next, etc

I suppose my question is, is there someplace to compare/contrast the two ways to play? Sound quality, greater control from remote, easier/more difficult search? And why does accessing through the Wiim amp provide fewer options?

You can also connect to a WiiM device via Google Cast from the YouTube Music app (YTM) and play music.

Also, it is currently possible to play YTM simultaneously on WiiM. With Pro Plus, you can play using the WiiM app whilst simultaneously playing via the YTM app on the Amp.

And why does accessing through the Wiim amp provide fewer options?
I think this is due to functionality being restricted by YTM. The features available in the WiiM app vary depending on the streaming service.

Most inbuilt stream implementations depend on api's. Typically these offer less functionality than the original apps. Some are better developed than others - choose the method with best fits your needs.
