Good question, I see on the WiiM website faq for the Ultra it shows as able to play from MQA. In theory as you surmised a bit perfect signal should still be able to pass through MQA, I would log a support ticket for an answer.

Might be the same song, but it’s not the same recording. Probably a better or higher resolution master on the Qobuz version. You would also have to volume match both as any slight volume difference would have an effect.

Absolutely! iTunes / Music also stores artwork separately and makes it incompatible with anything else.

Not found any settings to do that unfortunately. There is an eero subreddit that may shed more light on it. There is a guest network option but never looked into that, of course it would be totally isolated from your main network so probably not much use.

The Eero devices won’t let you split bands nor Wi-Fi channels if that’s required. I have some here but they just sit unused in their boxes as I have a Unifi system which gives me control (too much possibly) over everything. Would however recommend Eero for someone who does not like tinkering.

Disable Tripmode and pull the WAN lead out your router, so you have local routing and not internet access. Does WiiM Home now still crash on opening?

A sleep has to be turned on whilst music is playing and not automatic like and alarm with a fade out. Senario… automatically playing relaxing music at a set time every night, drift off to sleep whilst listening and at the end of alarm it fades out not waking me back up. A bit like the sleep...

Alarm fade out would be fantastic. I use alarms to play music at night to fall asleep to, when it stops suddenly (alarm ends) it’s not a pleasant experience. So a fade to off would really be great.
