Have you tried a factory reset on the Pro Plus? And, you can open a ticket w/Wiim to see if they have a fix, as well. Is this a new item and has it done this since Day One?

I have the Pro but this is how I have my settings and the results.

Are you using Coax or optical? How are you verifying Qobuz output bitrate? Does the same track show the bitrate change when you increase the Pro Plus output?

On a side note, I also have the same SMSL combo and really like it. I have my Wiim Pro and my Onkyo CD player going in to it and RCA out to my AVR. I prefer it's headphone section over my AVRs; just sounds cleaner all around.
