To gain a bit of perspective on the tracks or albums that I post, most would seem to fall into the category of self-introspection or darker, more depressing aspects of humanity. I believe that art is a reflection of what the artist has gone through and can be cathartic for both artist and listener. Sad, soul-bearing songs always seemed the most honest and the emotions are highly relatable to me.

That being said, here are a few that touched me deeply over the decades.
