I heard this track a couple of years ago at the Bristol hifi show, it was in the Wilson Benech room, stand mounts and subwoofer( they didnt call it a subwoofer) i cannot reproduce the depth of bass that is present in this track and was very evident in this demonstration, amazing equipment:)
I have listened to Atmos music tracks via Tidal, i really like it but choose to not listen to music because this way, because as far as i can tell its compressed and not lossles.
Could the difference be caused by the software that was used to to rip your cds?
I ripped my cds using Nero, I haven't listened to them in a while but I remember thinking that they sounded a little flatter, could have been a level mismatch, I'm not really sure.
I am using Tidal as a reference.
I found with room correction software (i use Dirac), you run it enter the curve you think you would like and then compare it to no room correction and if you prefer the corrected version keep it and don't touch it again unless you change your system:)
I contacted the Manufacturer of my class D amp (Nordacoustics) about the connection to my REL at high level and they told i was OK to connect this way but it is not the case with all Class D amps, definitely worth inquring.
