A more standard approach would be to use a Mini or Pro with the E50 and the Yamaha. I use a Pro with my E50 and it works very well. Checked and same result in my Arylic s50 pro plus, only fringe bbc stations seem to work, consistant across all the Linkplay devices i have. However, bbc 6 music still works on TuneIn on my Bluesound Nodes. 😶

I use a Wiim pro on my desk for such a reason. PC, cd attached by usb, to ddc to Wiim pro toslink in. Can use RC or eq dependent on need and switch to the Pro for multiroom or even streaming if needed but mostly use the PC for content provision. Works seamlessly. 👍
