In the picture I think I can see a WiiM Amp Ultra and (even) a WiiM Sound. Recently, these sort of WiiM promotions have excluded the newest models, so it will be interesting to see if these components are included in this sale.

Yes, it does indeed, which I presume is its main use. It means it can then be used to, say, stream LMS to your wireless headphones or through a DAC, needing no other device, such as a WiiM.

The other reason given for not mentioning this feature is the 20 minute limit to his videos. As if saying ‘and it supports Alexa Cast’ means he will have to mutilate the music played between features. Very odd justification.

I would agree with these sentiments. In addition, the Mojo2 has lossless DSP tone controls which can be used should you not wish to use WiiM’s own room correction. In fact, I have used the curves suggested by WiiM RC to help inform my Mojo2 tone control settings.

And for the well heeled amongst us, I didn’t see Linn on the list either, which is surprising given their tradition of being at the vanguard of streaming developments.
