Tried two different power sources for a WiiM Pro: a 5v LPS and then a TalentCell battery powered 5v solution. The latter proved to be far better than the first. There's been a lot of cries about it from the denialists.

There's a tuning of the new firmware as I've been told so we have to chillax.
Usually see the firmware rollout but here I am wondering if something happened because still on the October 10th firmware and no amount of checking sees any update.
Know I can't ask for a download but I've changed my standby time to "Never" in the hopes that this firmware upgrade finds me...

No doubt here on the RME. As noted previous, no lps impact. They said that in their own forum but I did try it before seeing their prelates posts.

Sorry, Fletch, I humbly disagree and think the low entry cost, say of a TalentCell for under $50 with a battery powered WiiM will show otherwise in many if not most users' audio setups. YMMV.
You implicitly misunderstood. Not only the one post but the entire conversation pointing to specific, inexpensive battery-powered solutions for WiiM products.
It's about a simple solution for better audio. It's not about a charged word like "superior" entering the chat. Look how the denialists...
