probably a stupid question, but why does a remote need to "pair" with your phone? i assume all buttons function thru spotify without your phone needing to be connected at all right? so you can load playslists, skip tracks etc without it.

these audiophiles that are concerned with some compression and therefor switches service barely even register on spotify`s subscriber list. if they had any worries about loosing money they would probably have done it a long time ago.

eversolo has never been my thing. several models of the same with upgraded flashy looking internals and powersupplies, the recent t8 streamer that does nothing but output a digital signal, yet suggesting it would give you better sound..not into subjective marketing stuff anymore. also...

ok, why? its not possible for tidal to have better sound when both are uncompressed, and from what i see and hear spotify as a service is better.

hooked up to active speakers i get hum from the mini in standby mode, when i connect to spotify it goes away (atleast most of it). i assumed it was normal given speakers at 0db and possibly somewhat higher gain. is it just me? using an apple 1A slim charger

it does say 5 and 9V like this photo i found online, and when i hook it up to non-samsung brand (xiaomi) a different charge icon appears (even though its 5V capacity is smaller than xiaomi`s own 5V chargers). but the connection type still decides the correct voltage?

Hello, several of my phone chargers are dual voltage 5V and 9V (so-called fast charging) What happens if it decides to output 9V into the mini, or will the load lock it to 5V? i assume its not an issue, but better safe than sorry.

because most audiophile transports are scams? they claim to be more precise etc but are no better than a cheap dvd/bluray. even if they had better signal its not a problem connected to a simple modern dac. pro-ject earlier even claimed most cdplayers cant read more than 10bits...

sure, but at 15:37 he says it doesnt happen with the other amplifier he has at hand. its cheap, but it still shows the difference between a simple and a good amp. so why is this not a test criteria for any amps on ASR? impulse response is also missing from all dacs.
