I’ve got a spare WiiM Mini I can re purpose for Airplay, it looks like that’s the best option.

I could (if I had a spare device), but I want to just use my phone as a remote (like you do with Tidal and Spotify Connect.

@RyanWithWiiM Can we please (please) have Native Apple Music integration, a la Spotify and Tidal Connect? It appears my best shot at full hi res lossless Apple Music through my Ultra, is by connecting a WiiM Mini and having to put up with Airplay downsampling everything.

The Dummy Plug will make the Ultra think that there is an actual television at the other end of the HDMI cable, as it sends EDID data (resolution etc). If this works (and it should) then I will be able to get full Apple Lossless, over HDMI, into the Ultra, without an actual Television being...

Thanks both. If I've understood this correctly, the only way for me to get audio out of my ATV and into my Ultra, would be optical? My ATV doesn't have an optical port, so would an HDMI Audio Extractor work, with the optical going in to the WiiM?

I moved my Apple TV HD from the garage (where it was headless, acting as a HomeKit hub), to behind my WiiM Ultra, so I can use it like Spotify Connect, but for Apple Music. I can now select it as a recognised output device on my iPhone, that will pull down the streams using my Apple Music...

Can we please (please) have native Apple Music integration? The equivalent of Spotify and Tidal Connect please.

I’ve just been taking a closer look at the Vibelink amp and it seems to also have an input selection button on the front? [Edit] - Or would that button on the Vibelink be redundant, as it’s taking it’s input from the Ultra?
