I have Wiim Amp Ultra (and wiim pro). great for a compact all in one but when it comes to movies, it still can't beat my decade old, entry level denon avr-x1200. So if tv/movies are your primary use case, your old receiver is probably better, especially if you have a sub and a center speaker

perhaps a WiiM Pro is better if you'll be using HA-1's DAC. my original setup was Wiim Pro to SMSL M500MK II DAC to SMSL A300 Amp. My PC is directly connected to A300's USB Port to minimize latency.

In my case, I'm using SPDIF/TOSLINK at 24bit/192Khz. Fixed Volume Output - Enabled MQA Beta -> Enabled External DAC - MQA Mono Audio - Disabled Still no Joy! My DAC still indicates PCM instead of MQA
