My Samsung Monitor does not have eARC so it doesn't have the bandwith to support Atmos through ATV.
This frankly has become a bit too complex for me and not worth more energy than I've already given it to get what really doesn't matter that much to me. Being able to have Atmos for music/video...
So it turns out that for whatever reason, when I have the ATV connected to the monitor and the monitor connected to the 4300, I'm not able to get Atmos to pass through to the 4300. I get Dolby Digital Plus. When I connect the ATV to one of the HDMI inputs the 4300 via HDMI, and I am able to...
I have a Samsung monitor not a TV so no opt-in. I usually keep my music listening to a separate preamp/amp but when I’m lazy through the 4300 using the Ultra DAC sounds pretty good to my ears.
The Apple TV 4K isn’t just an app. I replaced my Roku with it as I already was using other Apple...
Yes that did the trick!
I also have a Denon AVR(X4300H). Connected the Ultra via analog to the AVR(want to use the Ultra's DAC) and the ATV via HDMI to the Samsung Monitor, which is connected to the Denon via HDMI.
I've only recently started using ATV(which I love) and all the...
Forgive me for what’s probably a simple answered question. I presently have my ATV connected via HDMI to my AVR.Any time I want to hear it I turn to that input. My Ultra is connected via analog to a separate input in the AVR. How do I listen to what’s playing on the Ultra while seeing the...
My issue was sorted as well. My firmware was a white list version provided when I was having Chromecast issues and did not support QC. It has been replaced by a very fast Qobuz support member and QC now finds my Ultra.
Is there anyway to go from Qobuz to Ultra using Connect without using Google Cast? I know I can use the Qobuz app within Ultra to get full 192 kHz but with GC I can only get 96. Am I missing something?
I had started a comment but deleted after I wasn't sure it was correct. Not having familiarity with your AVR I wonder if the reason you have to have Stereo Direct engaged to hear the line out from the Ultra is because it's an all analog connection? Were you trying to engage the AVR's processor...
This issue continues sporadically on mine and is really the only hiccup on the Ultra I'm presently experiencing. My "fix" is to switch from line out to another output, and then back again to line out which fixes it. A bit of a hassle but given how well everything is with the Ultra I'm willing to...
Unfortunately still suffering occasional drop outs using "Line In". I don't see many posts about this so can't figure out what I"m doing wrong. Frustrating to say the least and support hasn't commented on my ticket yet.
