No question Spotify user interface is the best out there if this matters to you. But for those that are hardcore audiophile where quality of music matter most they would pick tidal since it offer 24/192. Many of these high resolution are not native when they were recorded and mostly upsampling.

Anyone on USA got Spotify hifi available?

Years ago when mini came out follow the pro the roadmap was full of excitement because we knows what’s on the horizon but as the time passed by and features were released things have started to winds down. No more idea what to implement on the next feature sets.

I don’t know any major feature on the horizon since roadmap hasn’t been updated in nearly a year. The excitement of block buster features is over.

This is great idea however since wiim did not comment from this topic its not on their roadmap or even implemented.

I don’t think it will happen since it’s up to SiriusXM who it choose.

If SiriusXM want more subscriber they should incorporate every imaginable devices instead of selected devices. Look how Amazon put many stores out of business because it’s one stop shop for everything. They even sell toothpick and shipped out to you.

People who has knowledge on audio knows upgrading dac would yield minimal result then they look for upgrading power supply because they were not happy on the outcome. Even an entry dac measured extremely transparent. Speakers, room treatment and room correction are the most substantial upgrade...

It required paid subscription which I also have standard. The only benefits is that you get few advertised and same quality as standard. I just don’t see paying just to get reduced advertisements.

Im just using iPhone 16 pro max to run roomfit. It was surprisingly good result. I’m not sure how much better umik 1 will bring to the table but if the return investment is just few percentage over iPhone mic it’s not worth it in my opinion. Umik 1 may serve for those who does reviews of audio...

I will wait the next one after this which might call wiim sub ultra. I like having 12 inch driver and 500 watt rms. I like bass especially in movie where I can feel the bass deep down on my spine.

Isn’t Dlna supposed to be alternative for airplay especially for their latest devices?

YouTube and Sirius xm are my liking. I’m not sure if there’s feature on the horizon you like aside from Dlna.
