I‘m also from Germany and i got the update early this afternoon, i think. I did not get any notification about the update this time. I just had a look when i saw this thread and there it was. Usually i get a popup for notification that my device is up to date after an update.

I switched from ethernet to WiFi a few days ago and it works flawless so far. Anyway, i would prefer the ethernet connection and that was the reason to buy the "pro". But ethernet loses connection every 2 or 3 days.

My WiiM pro works fine with 24/192 connected to my >10 years old Pioneer N-50 over Toslink (supplied cable as well as Oehlbach Opto). I tested with several downloads from highresaudio.com.

Absolutely the same here, so don't search for the reason in your own local network.

I have a problem with TuneIn implementation on the WiiM pro each time a station offers more than one stream. E.g. if there is a 64kb/s stream for mobile use and a 128kb/s for home use, TuneIn automatically selects the lowest bitrate, which of course sounds terrible. In the TuneIn App i can...

I already did so but got no respond so far. I guess taking the device from power supply deletes the logs - right?

The WiiM Toslink cable indeed seems to be of quite good quality and it fits perfectly into the sockets of the WiiM and my DAC. It works fawlessly at 24/192 so far. No need for "high-end" cables IMO.
