Has anyone seen the release notes?

Both sides. Wiim will ask for a manual update, but it will automatically update after a certain amount of time (so you can't refuse the update).

I‘m also from Germany and i got the update early this afternoon, i think. I did not get any notification about the update this time. I just had a look when i saw this thread and there it was. Usually i get a popup for notification that my device is up to date after an update.

You have to be a bit patient. Updates are delivered in batches - so you will get it.

Usually the order ist Cologne, Düsseldorf, all others, Bavaria ;-)

There are several threads about this problem. Its a quite comment problem with the ethernet port. My pro has the same problem.

Maybe not the right place/thread for my question, but I try it.
My Pro is connected via Ethernet. Coax to the DAC then RCA to the Amp.
After a changing period of time it loses this connection and switches to WiFi. A simple cut and reconnect the power cable solves it. My WiFi is stable and the app name it "excellent", so its more or less no problem at all. But the only part of my stereo where I trust in waves is the way from the speaker to my ear. I am a dedicated WiFi and Bluetooth denier. No reason, only ignorance from my side
Is this behaviour known? From WiiM support I got no answer since 2 weeks.

Is there anyone still waiting for this update?

I'm currently stuck on 4.8.512355 and the Pro is always on so there's no reason for it not to have updated.
I've sent @WiiM Support a couple of tickets from the WHA but haven't heard anything from them.
Does anyone know the URL of the update servers (to check there's nothing blocking them), or is there anything I can do to manually update the firmware?

I'll give it another couple of days then try and contact Amazon about a replacement.

So there is a chance you're on the beta now and you won't get public updates until removed from the whitelist.
