I would like the option in the app to be able to set the subwoofer either on or off as it relates to the input source. I realize I could use the presets however when I use auto sensing of an input source the presets are not applied. My scenario is I like to have the subwoofer used for...

I found a flaw in using the presets for this. I have HDMI under auto sensing. When it automatically goes over it does not use that preset.
