Update:
I had a chance to try linking my wifes YouTube account to WiiM Home on my iPhone.
This time it went through without a problem.
I didn't do anything differently, but I will add that we setup a couple of TV's with her subscription since my first attempt with WiiM.
Her account in YouTube...
I went through the process of trying to add YouTube as one of the music services. I tried using my basic YouTube account but failed since I don't have Premium. I tried using my wife's premium account but it gave an error, something to the effect of "not enough arguments". I believe because...
How do I go about getting her YouTube to be available in my WiiM account? I tried logging in to her YouTube from my WiiM account and it came up with an error of not enough arguments (or something similar).
I'm guessing it won't let me use her account.
I don't want to setup another WiiM Home...
Yes, I'm still playing around with trying to get the Cinema 60 to be a part of MRM speaker group. I keep hoping you guys with all the knowledge and experience will show me the way. :)
It's not like it's a big deal to have to turn on the Marantz and switch the input, it's more that I've become...
I'm putting this in the Alexa thread because my goal is to have my Marantz Cinema 60 play in MRM.
I can see the AVR in the Alexa app but can't add it to any speaker groups. It says not compatible.
Currently I have a Echo device as input to the AVR and it will play in MRM but I have to turn on...
I swapped the WiiM Amp for the Ultra and I could tell an improvement in sound quality.
Plus I took the Amp and connected it to two sets of outdoor speakers, which was a very noticeable improvement in sound quality over my Fosi Amps and Echo device.
Unpacking: Box in a box in a box and very heavy.
Open two boxes and lay on side so can pull the WiiM box out to open.
Take sub out of box using the large sock it's packed in.
(this was just a joke post) Not much to the unpacking.
Arrived a day early. I have it setup and working already.
I'm not an audiophile any more but will say the sub is working as expected.
I paired it up with my Thiel's and Amp Ultra. It feels like a good match.
It aesthetically goes better in the room than my Velodyne did, plus I was able to move...
Amazon put through the charge for my recent order. Previous experience tells me that the sub will soon be shipping. :)
I also noticed that they are showing out of stock now. U.S.
Order placed!! :)
Will the app help guide me on placement of the sub?
Being wireless I should have freedom to move the sub anywhere in the room but could use some guidance to get started.
