I see a lot of CD players that run off USB....would the USB port on the WIIM amp power a CD player? What I would really like is a quality CD transport, no DAC, that had a USB slot on the front to for playing USB stuff too...and I would connect thru optical....thats what I want..

For anyone interested to know the Wiim home app can be added and used on android tv/Nvidia shield. I managed to get it working and all the functions work fine. The app is a bit clunky with the remote but a mouse would help. If all your interested in is displaying album art it’s great.
