wiim vibelink amp

Hello. I have a Wi-Fi Ultra and a Wi-Fi Vibelink amp. I've connected a 12V trigger cable to the Wi-Fi, and I wanted to know what the difference is between having it connected and not having it connected, as I haven't noticed any difference in the power settings. Thank you.
