Recently purchased an additional Mini and wanted to try and setup left and right channels from my LG OLED TV via Bluetooth. ( I have a Bowers and Wilkins A7 and wanted a better sound stage.)

Unfortunately there was a significant lag when setup and L & R pairs.

However I was able to overcome this by connecting each Mini via Bluetooth to the TV (LG has 2 Bluetooth outputs :) and set the audio channel L & R (on each mini). I can now enjoy no lag!

Just thought I’d share! Hopefully this setup overcomes any reduction in audio quality when pairing minis…

Creative workaround, glad you got it sounding the way you want.

Just a quick note for anyone trying something similar. Bluetooth from a TV is typically handled as independent streams, so while it can reduce perceived lag, it may not stay perfectly time-aligned over longer listening and can impact overall quality.

If you’re looking for the most stable left/right pairing, using grouping within the WiiM system (with a single source feeding both devices) tends to give better synchronization. Devices like the WiiM Mini are designed to stay in sync that way.

That said, if this setup is working well in your space, that’s what matters. Appreciate you sharing it.

Personally the lag and synchronisation of left / right pairing via Bluetooth source is not at all recommended. The lag is a full second behind the picture. Using the Line out of tv also resulted in the same lag which was disappointing. Audio streams via WiFi worked fine. Using two Bluetooth outputs is acceptable , yes at times there are minimal synchronisation issues (normally resolved with a pause and start to resolve them).
