I added a center channel with WiiM Pro and Kali MM-6 monitor speaker to my current system (2.2 active monitors set up with WiiM Pro Plus and SMSL DO100 Pro). WiiM Pro shared same input with WiiM Pro Plus via WiiM group, Google Chromecast group, AirPlay group, or an active Toslink splitter (shwon on the third picture). I set up WiiM Pro as a mono output and output toslink to Kali MM-6 monitor (which has toslink, spdif, XLR, RCA inputs). I equalize WiiM Pro to enhance vocal frequency range and de-emphaise low and high freqencies.

Once WiiM gets room correction and additional equalization, I plan to apply RC to WiiM Pro and vocal enhancing eq.

Make sure Room Correction is applied in the correct order. If you've already EQ'd your sound via WiiM Pro, adding Room Correction should ideally be done afterward to avoid undoing any adjustments you've made to the frequencies.

To the best of my knowledge, starting the room correction process will never include or respect the EQ you applied prior to running it.

There is an ongoing beta for the WiiM Ultra only (so far) that allows to apply EQ and RC independently. But I think this feature is not available for either the WiiM Pro or Pro Plus so far.

Until WiiM Pro gets separate EQ and RC, I apply mono output and RC and use Kali MM-6's equalizer settings (it has dip switches at the rear panel) with low frequency trim and high shelf trim. When measuring for RC, I do not use low and high frequency trims. I can hear voice much better with this setup.
