All WiiM devices support up to 24/44.1 from Spotify and being lossless the bitrate has little value other than showing the level of lossless FLAC compression - it’s not an indication of quality.
Thanks, so based on my research, is WIIM using 320 kbps Ogg Vorbis when streaming from Spotify? I just have a 'standard' Spotify plan, I'm not subscribed to any 'lossless' plan if there is such a thing.

Unless you use free Spotify, you have access to lossless 24/44.1 tracks which equates to 2116 (2*24*44.1) kbps uncompressed which lossless FLAC compression may show as around 70% of that figure but will vary from track to track, with no loss of quality. Your research looks as if it’s dealing with pre-lossless Spotify
You will have to switch all devices (if you want off-course) to lossless separate in the Spotify app once (while connected/playing) before they are able to play it. That is how Spotify wants it to go and with good reason. They have to pay for data-traffic and with big volumes like they do it's expensive. If every user switched to lossless right now they would have capacity problems. That's a big reason they stuck to Ogg Vorbis max 320kbit/s for so long when others already were doing lossless so they had to follow.
