New WiiM Amp Pro owner here. Read the prior threads on this topic and have tried everything recommended (and have started a support ticket with WiiM). Those threads are a bit older, so hoping there is some new advice out there.

Set up: Amp Pro, LS50 Metas, SVS powered PB1000 sub, Cambridge Audio Alva Duo phono preamp, Fluance RT85 TT. Everything is less than one month old. Good quality speaker cables and interconnects.

Controlling the Amp Pro from iPhone 15. WiiM Home app is latest and Amp Pro firmware is latest. Sub crossed over at 80hz and main speakers are set for bass pass through. Everything was working GREAT until a few days ago. Without any changes that we are aware of regarding hardware or software, the sub simply stopped getting output from the WiiM Amp Pro (both streaming and phono). I've gone through the disconnect/reset/power on-off/cable check routines. Nothing. Not an issue with the sub itself, as I confirmed running it with another system to check.

"Maybe" there was a recent WiiM update pushed out that we aren't aware of and which resulted in this. I can't think of any other cause or any other solution.

Any advice appreciated!

Hi,

When the WiiM amp is turned on, do you hear a hum noise when you disconnect the subwoofer cable connected to the sub side and touch your finger to the end of the plug?

If you don't hear anything, then you have a problem with the WiiM sub out.

Also please try the plug on the WiiM side as well.

Edit: Sorry, I was sleepwalking and wrote something funny. Please try disconnecting the subwoofer cable on the WiiM side when the sub is on and touch the tip of the plug to see if you can hear the hum noise.

Also, you said you already checked everything, but go to the subwoofer settings in the WiiM app and check again that the subwoofer is turned on. If it is already on, turn it off and then on.

Also, is it Subwoofer Bypass Mode you have turned on? If so, the high pass is applied to the main speakers and not the full range.

Also, if you have an amplifier other than the WiiM, you can try connecting the WiiM's sub-out to the input of that amplifier and see if you get sound. (Please note the volume.)

Thanks - will try both and report back. (Had sub output on - that's why it was working for the past couple weeks - and before posting I tried turning sub output off and then on again. Also, I did not have Sub Bypass on - has been off. I did have Main Speakers Output Bass on, but I've been playing with that on and off over the past two weeks as I work on overall EQ for the system and that setting has only affected the mains, never the sub itself).

Had similar issue with sub output not working on wiim amp
Is there an system update to fix it?

The reason for a similar issue might be completely different, since you're not using a WiiM Amp Pro.

Better post your own thread describing the problem in a little more detail.
