Amp Ultra: disable DLNA

Hi all,

I just got my Amp Ultra up and running. So far, I'm quite happy with it. However, there's a streaming protocol that I wish to disable, and that's DLNA.

I can disable Google Cast and Squeezelite within the WiiM Home, but I see nothing for DLNA.



I don't like the protocol due to security issues.

Any suggestions?

If you're referring to the Internet Gateway Device Protocol you need to disable it at the router. You can't disable DLNA/UPnP on WiiM devices.

I'm referring to a WiiM device sitting there as a DLNA media renderer that I neither want nor need.

I'm not doing anything to the router.

You mentioned security; there is no security risk in having the interface available.

There are a lot of interfaces that can't be disabled; for example, all the connect interfaces.
