Any news on implementing a one-click bit-perfect toggle?

First of all, I’d like to thank you for your work. My WiiM Pro Plus works great and brings a lot of enjoyment when listening to music.
I would like to ask about the promise to add a one-click bit-perfect function, mentioned by your team representative on January 25, 2025 (link to the post).

This topic has been discussed multiple times on the forum, and many users are looking forward to having an easy way to enable bit-perfect playback with a single switch. At the moment, I don’t see such an option in the WiiM Home app.

Could you please clarify when this promise is expected to be implemented in WiiM devices?

Out of the twelve current WiiM products (excluding the Vibelink), this “one-click bit-perfect function” could only work properly on three of them, these are the Mini, Pro, and Pro Plus.

It might also be able to work on the Ultra, but only if you don’t use its Sub Woofer output, and management.

The other eight products all have built-in amplifiers, which you are unlikely to want to operate at maximum volume.

I do not want a one click bit perfect toggle. Things could get devastatingly loud by accident.
I am very happy that WiiM implemented a two step procedure for fixed volume some updates ago.

Fair point, but they could always mitigate that with a similar double-check.

I agree. IMHO bit-perfect can also create problems (more here), while solving a problem which anyway doesn't exist anymore.

That being said, if the feature is offered it probably makes sense to try and make it more user-friendly.
