What are you using as the source, and how are you connecting it to your WiiM device?

I note you are not using Apple Music,

I’m not entirely sure, I’d need to do some research.

Leaving WiiM aside for a moment, what app do you use on your phone to play your tracks? Normally the WiiM app will see every local file that the iOS Music app does.

I believe Apple removed the DRM protection around 2009. So if you have music that you purchased before that time you might run into problems. I’m not 100% positive but anything after 2009 you should be good.

I use the WiiM app. It doesn’t seem to see all the files, only the same 20 or so. None of the files (tracks) are older than probably 2014 ish.

Source is my iPhone. I connect via wifi

Unfortunately I don’t have any experience using the iPhone as a source other than using it with AirPods and CarPlay.

I use a cheap NAS drive to stream my iTunes library to the WiiM units. It works fine other than the album artwork doesn’t show up on the Ultra. It shows up fine on the WiiM app. I have the library backed up onto other drives incase the NAS fails.

Good luck, I hope you can get it sorted?

I had an issue similar to this a while back synching my library across Apple devices. If you have an older iTunes ID, there’s a good chance it’s different from your Apple ID.

First, check the settings on your iPhone to see if your ID being used for purchases is the same as your Apple ID (Settings > your name > Media & Purchases). It will probably show you your iTunes ID and ask for that password. If it’s different from your Apple ID, the Media & Purchases ID is the one you need to use to log into Apple Music in the WiiM Home app, and you should then see your entire library.

I never did figure out how to bring my iTunes purchases under my Apple ID, which would make things so much easier dealing with media and anything related to the App Store. Probably needs a lengthy phone call with Apple support. But I’ll bet a dollar that’s your problem.
