Apple TV with AirPlay 2 and WiiM Mini — no Sound

Hi all,

I‘m using the Mini with active loudspeakers from Nubert (Nupro A—200) with an internal DAC 24bit/96kHz, and connected with optical cable. Everything (Amazon Music/tunein/Plexamp…) is working great, only Audio from an AppleTV per AirPlay 2 is not working. If I activate the Mini in the menu as loudspeaker, than I can only hear for a second sound, than nothing. Is this a known problem, or what can I do here? Thanks

Can you airplay from your iPhone to the Mini, or is it just the Apple TV that’s causing issues?

Try power cycling your Mini and your router to see if that helps. If not, factory reset the mini by pressing its play button for ten seconds until it says it’s resetting. Also check if the Mini appears in your apple home app - if not, add it as an accessory
