Auto play on startup and skip song feature in radioparadise app

Hi there, I'm new to the WiiM streaming universe but so far am very happy with my minimalistic Wiim Mini streaming setup and the way WiiM continuously strives to enhance software features and functionality.
However, I am surprised that I can't find a function to enable auto-play when booting the system?
Meaning that I'd very much like it to automatically start playing my favourite (or last used) stream. Or to get it to play by hitting the play button, just avoiding the need to use another device to connect the WiimHome app and manually set it to play.

Another feature that I'm missing is within the radioparadise app. I'm glad they have this app covered at all, but it seems like it has no advantage over just streaming the station via TuneIn or vTuner?
Namely I'm missing the simply amazing feature of radioparadise to skip a song currently playing - is it possible to implement that?

Cheers and lot's of fun with music!

I'd like to root in on this one, would be great if the player just started playing on boot
Would be fine if you could just select a present to start playing on boot.

Welcome.

Except they automatically reboot every few days, often in the middle of the night!
(But surely it could differentiate between one of its maintenance reboots and other startups.)

If that's the case, then it's useless for my application.
I want it to just play 24/7 at an elderly man's place, one radio station running all the time.
If it boots and don't come back, then it goes straight back to the vendor.

I don't see why you need to reboot, the radio when you want it to keep playing 24 hours a day.

I think your request can be fulfilled by simply using the alarm function and playing the radio every morning 🙂

Because Mr. Ee mentioned that they booted every other day, but if I can set an alarm and that starts the radio station, then we are golden :D
