Auto selection of Line out or optical out?

My WiiM Pro is working great on my main HiFi using optical out. I tried to move it to another setup where I need to use its Line in. This failed with the WiiM resetting and then redownloading a firmware update that had already been applied. Must Line or optical be chosen at time of installation or should I be able to select either at any time?

Any time. No idea why it'd reset and redownload!

To change input, Browse from bottom menu, then scroll down to Select Input Source.
To change output, Device menu, choose device, bottom of 'now playing' screen.
