Auto-Standby doesn't work for Line In

I have my WiiM Pro set to two minutes for auto-standby. This works fine when set to wi-fi input: after two minutes the white light dims.

This does not work when using line-in. The light stays bright green no matter how long there's been no audio signal, even when the source device is powered down. Only when I press power off from the WiiM remote control will the green light dim and power be cut to the trigger out.

I'm using my television's line-out as a source for WiiM's line-in. The whole idea is I don't want to have to juggle multiple remote controls when using my television. I have not found where WiiM documentation says auto-standby only works when WiiM devices are set to wi-fi input.

My Pro will auto-standby when the set time comes, even with the line-in. Please unplug the cable connected to the Pro's line-in and see if the auto-standby works properly.

What is your line in auto sensing set to?

Maybe some noise that triggers it?

Your suggestion doesn't work. I unplugged the cable from my television's audio out, rebooted the WiiM Pro, and set standby to 30 seconds. Same problem. I then tested every input:

Wifi: auto-standby after 30 seconds
Bluetooth: auto-standby after 30 seconds
Line-In: doesn't work (source end of the cable is disconnected)
Optical: doesn't work (nothing connected to WiiM)

One curiosity: when I started looking into this problem standby was set to 1 minute. After resetting standby to 30 seconds the option for 1 minute is no longer available. Only choices are 30s, 5m, 15m, 30m, 1hr, never.

What is your auto-sensing configuration?

I have 2m also and it has always been like that as far as I remember.

OK, I have some useful information. If I change the line-in status from "Play" to "Pause" the WiiM Pro will go into standby automatically. This is the opposite of signal sensing auto-standby since it requires action from the remote control or app.

WiiM: Why does this seem specific to my WiiM Pro? Please fix this.
