BBC Radio Streams gone?

Was listening to BBC 6 Music today and now...nothing. Neither the Wiim BBC Radio Music Service option nor the direct Internet stream works. Worryingly the Internet stream simply says "gone" when inserted into my Web browser.

I know the BBC is pushing everyone to BBC sounds but this isn't integrated into the wiim app which is a problem....

Anyone experiencing the same issue?

Same here. The 320 stream is down and so is the stream through the wiim ultra for 6 music. The BBC sounds app was a bit glitchy but is OK now. I hope it's temporary. You can still use the bbc sounds app and cast it to the wiim. Not ideal but near enough. Wiim are working on
  • Enhanced Internet Radio (WiiM Radio) I hope it includes bbc radio.

Checked and same result in my Arylic s50 pro plus, only fringe bbc stations seem to work, consistant across all the Linkplay devices i have. However, bbc 6 music still works on TuneIn on my Bluesound Nodes. 😶

I've got some BBC stations setup as presets. I was listening to Radio 6 yesterday and it just cut out. Tried a reboot etc, nothing. Tried other BBC channels I'd got as presets and same, no sound. Tried a different station on a preset, that worked fine.

This morning I tried deleting the preset (Radio 6) and re-adding it and it's working fine now. Almost like they've changed the frequency (old school lol) and what was previously saved wasn't there anymore, but had just moved location a bit. Same with Radio Leeds, that wasn't working and deleting and re-adding it has worked.

No, it explains some previous changes made by the BBC. My presets do not work but from BBC Radio in WHA I get Radios 2, 3, 4, and 6 (no 1 and 5).

THIS WORKS! I tried this last night with no luck but today WiiM replied to me and said 'try again' however it did not work so I saw this message from LAWNY so I tried finding BBC 6 music agaiin via the app, it played so I saved it as a PRESET and wrote over the previous preset and bingo! back up and running. Now we just need to get rid of the daily rave in the mornings... ;))

I had the same problem yesterday, I was listening to BBC Radio 1, and the signal cut out, I presumed it was just the connection so switched off and went about my day.

I had it set to a preset. I tried again this morning and nothing. I deleted it from the preset and tried to add it again and still nothing. I tried several other BBC services and all work apart from Radio 1.

Edit: Radio 5 live isn't working either

Yeah just tried to add 1 and 5 with same results you've got :confused:. Weird.

BBC changed links. https://as-hls-ww.live.cf.md.bbci.co.uk/pool_904/live/ww/bbc_radio_one/bbc_radio_one.isml/bbc_radio_one-audio=320000.norewind.m3u8 was using this link to get 320 when not in UK, need to find another link.

Probably due to the bbc changing links - see the last comment on this GitHub page. Try one of the alternative links in the main playlist files listed there
