BBC Radio Streams gone?

Was listening to BBC 6 Music today and now...nothing. Neither the Wiim BBC Radio Music Service option nor the direct Internet stream works. Worryingly the Internet stream simply says "gone" when inserted into my Web browser.

I know the BBC is pushing everyone to BBC sounds but this isn't integrated into the wiim app which is a problem....

Anyone experiencing the same issue?

So I'm using ww.live.cf.md.bbci.co.uk/pool_01505109/live/ww/bbc_6music/bbc_6music.isml/bbc_6music-audio=320000.norewind.m3u8

but no luck.

Do you have any idea which part of the "pool" entry needs to be changed?

try this one

That works a charm, thank you!

What is a bit strange is that the Wiim BBC Radio App is playing 6 music.... but not live! I've got Chris Hawkins on that and Jamz Supernova on the updated web stream, which is live.

Hmmm.

Greetings from Scotland.

My unit is the Pro plus. I use the Wiim app on my phone.

Like others, a BBC radio channel stopped working. For me it was R4. R2 was still working ok ? Anyways, I deleted my R4 preset and reselected R4 from the "BBC radio" icon and I was back in business. The good folks at Wiim must be hard at work correcting the BBC radio changes.

Note that there is no listing for BBC Radio Scotland in the "BBC radio" icon/national stations. It can be found lower down under "Nations and region"

Oh no, just tried Radio 6 Music and no joy. Hopefully just a hiccup somewhere 🙏
I lost bbc radio 6 and radio 4 on my Wiim ultra yesterday (jan 21st). I've managed to get them both back back by going to browse / music services / bbc radio / national stations. You might need to click on see all and then select bbc radio 6 and overwrite your existing preset with it. I did the same for radio 4 as well. Hope that's of some help if you've not got it back yet.

I, too, had bbc 4 and bbc 3 reception problems. The presets for these two stations no longer worked. However, after retuning these stations using the bbc radio button in the music services section of the browsing pane and re-assigning them to my presets, they now function correctly. I had a similar problem with these bbc stations on my Lyngdorf TDAI 1120.

I'd like to add that I've been unable to play Radio 2 & Radio 3, through the Wiim app. Everything was working ok until 27th Jan.
All other BBC stations under the national tag are working fine.

To solve the wiim problem of losing BBC stations, I downgraded from Lyrion to one of the old versions of Logitech Media Server, available on Lyrion at downloads and then 'museum' downloads. I chose the latest 'real' LMS. Then installed the plugin BBC sounds and registered. It's then 'easy' to play any BBC station and cast through a wiim player - but maybe a bit fiddly. I've 2 wiims and the synchronisation works well

Why the need to downgrade Lyrion (LMS) ?
The BBC Sounds plug-in works with latest versions as far as I know

That was my thought as well

It wasn't a 'need' to downgrade from Lyrion - but a choice. Maybe I'm wrong - but I find the old LMS so much easier to work with than Lyrion. I struggled to get Lyrion to work with sounds. With the old version of LMS it was just intuitively obvious. But just a personal preference - I find the user interface of Lyrion leaves a lot to be desired.

What's wrong with the user interface? I am not keen on the new plugin page myself but apart from that it is pretty much the same as the old LMS. If you don't like Material Skin you can switch to default skin which would make it look like the old LMS. I still prefer default skin on a PC but prefer Material skin on a phone.
