Best transfer of sound data?

Hello guys,

Just bought the WiiM Ultra and very happy so far… I run Tidal Connect and Qobuz Connect. Is this the best and most ‘lossless’ way of transferred the music data?
Or should I for even better SQ connect my IPad via its USB C with a adapter to Optical in or Coax into the WiiM Ultra?

WiiM devices are bit perfect up to 24/192 irrespective of whether you use the WiiM app or Connect from Tidal or Qobuz (or Amazon music for that matter). The point of a good streamer like a WiiM is to free you from wired connections to your phone but still maintain optimal quality.

If you do decide to use the wiim app then after opening tidal / qobuz (in the wiim app) find their 'quality' settings in their menus to choose the max sample rate. It may not default to 192khz.
