Black Linkplay Screen

My WiiM amp linked successfully to my phone.
When I try to link to HP Omen laptop however, an issue arises.
I've downloaded WiiM Home for windows, installed it, but
when I attempt to open, the home screen appears briefly
and is immediately replaced by an unresponsive black screen with:

"Linkplay
Enjoy your audio content easily
Please make sure your WiFi network is same as your device"

There is a tiny "?" on the screen which takes me to a notepad log file.
Any idea what is happening?

I should add that all devices are connected to the same WiFi.

This is exactly what I'm experiencing. I had to do a system restore on my Windows 10 pc and reinstalled the WIIM app. I can't setup my WIIM Mini.

I can't setup my WIIM Mini.

You should be using the iOS or Android version of WiiM Home to set up your WiiM Mini, not the beta version of the Windows app, I think.

I have the same problem. I did a restart on my laptop and get the Linkplay screen too. I got this reply from Customer Support:

"We are very sorry for the inconvenience.
Please ensure that your mobile phone, WiiM device, and computer are all connected to the same network. First, check whether the WiiM device appears in the WiiM Home app on your mobile phone.
If it does not appear, press and hold the Play button on the WiiM device for about 4 seconds to enter re-networking mode. Then, use the mobile version of the WiiM Home app to reconnect the device to the network.
Once reconnected, please check if the WiiM device is now visible on your computer.
Thank you for your patience and understanding.

I tried this but no success. I also tried a reboot and factory reset. Still no success. Did you resolve it?

This is Ethan from WiiM. Is your computer connected to the same router as the WiiM Amp? The screen you're seeing appears because the WiiM Home App on Windows hasn't found the WiiM Amp. Please click the “?” button and send us the full log, and we’ll investigate the issue.

Ok. The solution sent by Ethan was to put my network into private mode.
