I am attempting to setup WiiM Pro using Bluetooth speakers for Output. I have tried 2 different outdoor patio style speakers and neither one worked with volume control. The speakers were stuck at 100% volume and did not respond to any volume controls. I tested connecting to these speakers with my android phone and had working volume control, its only through the WiiM.
I opened a support case and they suggested, "The issue seems to be that your Bluetooth speaker doesn't support AVRCP volume control, which is why it's set to maximum volume by default."
I then also tested some portable Bluetooth speakers and they all seemed to work fine through the WiiM.
So my question is has anyone had any luck with permanent mountable outdoor Bluetooth speakers with the WiiM Pro? If so which make/models. Thanks.
