Bluetooth Transmit with Pairing Code

I have a wiim mini that I would like to pair ( Tx mode) with a Bluetooth receiver built into another device. The wiim can see the the receiver, but won't pair. The receiver has a pairing code that can't be changed and is not the standard 0000 or 1111. Does the wiim app not support custom pairing codes, or is something else going on? I was able to pair a Chromecast to it no problem by entering the code.

I haven’t seen support for pairing codes. Best dropping WiiM a line via the feedback section in the app so they can advise if there’s a workaround.

Post your Bluetooth receiver model here and someone may be able to give you some advice. Btw can you connect that receiver to your phone?

Weekends are generally not very good for getting replies.

I asked a few weeks back, but decided maybe the forum is better. It's an In.stream2, built into a spa. Phone connects fine, but the code is 5555 so I am thinking that maybe the issue
