Cambridge Audio CXN v2?

Currently I have my CA CXN v2 connected to my Wiim Amp via optical. Would it better to use the DAC in the CA via RCA rather then the Wiim?

I think it's fine as it is now.

The line-in connection goes through both DACs and the WiiMs ADC, so the sound quality will be degraded.

Maybe the StreamMagic app is better than the WiiM Home App.
It does seem a bit of a waste of a CXN V2 though.

The StreamMagic app is simple and just works whereas the Wiim app has more options so you cannot say that one is better. Also, CA do not think that Radio Predication is a BBC radio station.

I didn't say that one is better. I was hypothesising why one might want to use the CA streamer over the WiiM. If they have a lot of local music then it's not hard to be better than the WHA.
