Can’t link WiiM minis to WiiM Pro

About three days ago my links between my WiiM Pro and my two WiiM Minis has broken. When I try to link either Mini to the Pro I get an error “Unable to complete this operation”.
I tried deleting and reinstalling the WiiM Home app on my iPhone — it didn’t fix it.
I tried linking the Minis on my iPad. Same error.
I discovered when I was in the App Store that my WiiM Home app was updated to version 3.1.5 (168.5 MB) about the same time my linked Minis stopped being linked.

I thought maybe I could delete the two Minis and re-add them to the app, but I can’t find a way to “forget” a device so I can start over.

App is up to date, and all firmware is up to date. IOS is 18.3.1.

Any suggestions??

Power off each Mini and it should appear in your device list as offline and have a button = Forget
If that fails press and hold play/pause button on the Mini for 10s, afterwards, you will see the light flashing red. Factory reset clears all source, volume, and network settings from the device and returns it back to the original factory settings.

I removed power from one of my Minis and was able to delete it from the app. It re-added itself when it was done rebooting. I did not factory reset the Mini — it doesn’t seem like that would accomplish anything since my two Minis were connecting to my Pro and everything was working just fine until this 3.1.5 version showed up. OR, maybe this problem started with the latest firmware updates on the Pro and Minis? I’ve sent “feedback” through the app (with logs) and all I’ve gotten so far was “reboot router and devices and try again” and “make a group”. I did all that (again) and made a group which fails with exactly the same “unable to complete this operation” error.

I would still try a factory reset on one of the minis.
I can happiliy group a mini with my Pro. My WHA app version is 3.1.6.250310 (Android)

I factory reset the Mini I have on my TV’s soundbar. I reconnected it to the WiiM Home app (iPhone v. 3.1.5) and had it calibrate successfully and then I renamed it “Living Room” just to make sure everything would be different. When I tried to link it to my WiiM Pro it failed with exactly the same error as before, so a factory reset didn’t accomplish anything. I’m pretty convinced it’s something to do with the iOS app upgrade or something specifically corrupt on my iPhone. However, I deleted the app and all its data and re-installed it from the App Store but that didn’t solve anything either. So frustrating!

Interesting. I just tried streaming from my iPhone to the soundbar (now named “Living Room” and it is playing the song I selected to stream. I then linked the “KitchenAirPlay” Mini to the Living Room Mini and they both are playing.
I tried to add the “KnabeAirPlay” to the group and it failed. See this screenshot.
So I’m thinking my next step is to factory reset the Pro and see if that solves the problem?

Follow-up: I factory reset the Pro and it solved nothing with regard to being able to link the Minis to it. (I went with the default name instead of the custom name I’d given it initially just to see if that would help. It didn’t.)
This morning the Pro stopped receiving AirPlay so I checked the WiiM Home app on my iPhone and the Pro was gone entirely. I rebooted the Pro and when it woke back up and re-added it to the WiiM Home app and ran through the setup and calibration. Interestingly, it picked up the custom name I’d given it before I did the factory reset a couple of days ago.
Anyway, NOW it’s working and I’m able to link the two Minis to it and once again have whole-home audio.
I have NO idea why all this happened. It makes no sense to me.
