Can the Vibelink amp act as a follower in a 5.1 Wiim set up?

I have a Wiim ultra with a pair of active speakers and I wanted to upgrade to a real amp and start a home cinema. However, as Wiim says that the Wiim Vibelink is just an amp I am not sure if it has the connection to wirelessly transmit it to the rear speakers like the Wiim amp does. Can someone confirm this please? I now that with a Wiim pro I can but the less I spend the more budget I have for the speakers.

The vibelink is indeed just an amp. rca or digital in, speaker out. That's it.

The Vibelink Amp can't be connected to a network, and can't be used as a wireless Dolby 5.1 follower on its own.
(It can be used as a power amplifier for Ultra.)

Are you planning to add new passive speakers?
If so, you can buy one power amp for Ultra and one WiiM pro, and connect your active speakers to the Pro to use them as followers.

Equipment required: power amp, passive speakers, WiiM Pro

If you want to add active speakers, you will need one Pro and speakers. Also, you can consider two AudioPro A10 mk2 WiiM Edition or two soon-to-be-released WiiM Sound.
