After connecting ether net I want to disable 5gz WiFi. However in Settings despite what it says in the manual there is no menu item to let me do this?

In WiiM Home app I see my two WiiM Pro. At the bottom I see:
Browse Device Search Settings
Pressing Device does nothing
Pressing settings I see:
FAQ
Feedback
User manual
Release notes
Roadmap
Shop
Rate our app
WiiM forum

So there is no Network status.

Not sure why this really old thread is being resurrected, but ok, I'll bite :)

'Settings' used to be what the '... More' menu option is now called, causing a little confusion between that and the cog icon device settings.

Because I still don't know how to disable wifi and BT

I'm chiming in here because I'm encountering a similar inability to disable Wi-Fi.

WiiM Pro, Pixel 6 Pro, ethernet cable into a reliable switch, can ping the device, showing Ethernet connected.

WiFi constantly shows up as it's own AP, can't figure out how to turn it off. Everything is on the latest firmware and app versions, no option appears in the Android app - or I can't find it. Also, does the "open" in the UniFi display truly mean that this is unsecured and fully "open"?

I appreciate any ideas and assistance.

I can see what you are saying, because my Nest Mini/Google Home speakers do generate a WiFi AP when they are disconnected from the wireless, but once connected they no longer have an "open" AP of any type.

Since it's wired in, do I need to also connect it to the wireless, and then perhaps it will stop this solo AP issue?

I'm 99% sure that Wiim Pro A186 said is one the wiim uses for device set-up, similar to a chromecast device broadcasting a ssid for set-up.
If the WiiM device AP still showing after setup it may look like the setup isn't completed.

I have my WiiM devices connected by Ethernet and I don't see any of their APs.

Off topic, but I've been seeing some strange glitches in Ultra recently (probably since the last update) from time to time. Today the album art did not show up in WHA when playing from Alexa. (A reboot solved the problem.)

Edit : Well, this is really off topic since this is a Pro thread.
