I have a Jellyfin server serving up music from my Raspberry Pi. For the past few weeks I've been able to see it in the Wiim app on my iphone but starting yesterday I can't see it. It used to sometimes fall off the list and then come back but now it's not being discovered at all.

I can see it with apps on my phone like VLC and I can push music from the Jellyfin web interface to the Wiim. But I can't access and control music from the Wiim app itself anymore. This wouldn't be a problem but trying to control music with Jellyfin isn't great. It'll play one track and then stop.

Also, what's the best software to install on a Raspberry Pi that lets me stream music to both Wiims (I have three including one Pro) and Sonos devices (I have an ARC and One in different rooms)? Is Jellyfin not preferred? If so, what is?

If you're on Android have you tried Symfonium? The app supports UPnP so will be able to control your WiiM and Sonos devices, but can only manage one queue at a time.

Hi Mshea0001,

We are sorry for the inconvenience caused!

We have reviewed the feedback you provided and identified the root cause: Jeffyfin is notifying the wrong IP address to the WiiM Home app. We will implement a workaround for this specific case to ensure the Jeffyfin media server is correctly displayed in our app.

I hadn't heard of mconnect before! It seems to be pulling music from my Jellyfin server and broadcasting it to my wiims! Thank you!
Does mconnect detect your Sonos speakers? I've only tested the trial version on Android but it doesn't detect Sonos and has a number of other issues.

You could try the Linn app, but it requires that you run BubbleUPnP Server to add OpenHome functionality to your WiiM and Sonos devices.

If you're only using Jellyfin to serve music over DLNA then you may be better off with MinimServer; the free version will likely be all you need.
Another system that can control both WiiM and Sonos is Lyrion, but that's a step up in terms of complexity and isn't compatible with the WiiM Home App.

Regarding your JellyFin discovery issues, have you tried setting:
Dashboard > Advanced > Networking > Bind to local IP: 192.168.1.1/24 (the IP of your JellyFin server)?
