Would it please be possible to enable the Wiim TV app to be installed on Chinese Android TV boxes that are not registered as officially certified Google TV equipment on the Google Play store?
My device does not find the Wiim TV app in the play store as it is based on a modified phone chipset and does not get recognised as a native Google TV.
I have managed to download the Wiim TV app via the Aurora app store and got it working perfectly for a short while by installing Vanced Micro G etc, but it stopped working again shortly after saying Google Play services needed to be installed (which they are, just not a Google TV version).
I would sooner not have to do any of this and just install the app properly and officially, and get automatic updates etc.
I cannot imagine there are any huge security implications if the app was enabled to work on more devices, after all it is pretty useless unless you have a Wiim device.
Thanks in advance.
