Hi,

I am facing some issues with my new Wiim pro connectivity.
My Wiim Pro is on a subnet 192.168.2X and my synology is on 192.168.1.X
Despite installing media server on my Synology, I could not connect my wiim to my media librairy on my synology.
Any help would be highly appreciated folks.
Thanks !

Do you have mDNS routing between the subnets?
What network is the WiiM App on?

The WiiM app needs to be able to discover both the server and renderer. I don't think UPnP works across subnets so you may need to rely on another interface.

Thanks for your reply
the WiiM app is on the same subnet as the WiiM streamer

is there a way to configure the ip address of my server directly into the app?

I'm pretty sure there's no way to do this in the WHA or to repeat the UPnP broadcasts as you can with the mDNS.

I have my music server and phone on the same vlan with Chromecast speakers on a separate vlan and this works fine, this is the setup I was expecting.

It's possible you could achieve this using the control point BubbleUPnP. This would require installing BubbleUPnP Server on the NAS, which if it's a newer one would need to support docker. If this is an option for you I should be able to test this my end.
