Connecting the Project CD Box E to the Wiim Amp

I was wondering if I can connect the Project CD Box E which has an coaxial output to the Wiim Amp which has an optical input using this cable:

No, that is an optical to optical cable. You will need a coax to optical converter.

Ok. Do you know is it bad to try and split two sets of rca cables into one rca input?

The pictured cable will not work. It is an optical cable. You need to use an coaxial digital to optical digital between the two units. There are threads on this forum with recommendations.

If you want to connect multiple devices to the RCA input on your WiiM amp, you should use an RCA Switch box. If you search on Amazon you'll see many to choose from.

I appreciate the advice (and the correction). I ended up buying an rca switch box from amazon because I didn't want to have to power the digital converter box. rca switch box is so handy, thanks!
