- ive read there are issues with the vibe amp and connectors, does anyone have any suggestions for brand? i will be using the streamer and the vibe with my klipsch RP-600m 2 and a klispsch sub. the regular rca connections seem great on the ultra. i am worried about the vibe to my speakers.

What are these issues you have read about?
that the RCA connection on the vibe does not work with all banana plugs. that the RCA connection is seemingly underpowered in comparison to the optical/coax connection with the ultra music streamer
i just figured out the inet radio thing, works really well.

The Vibelink has 4mm sockets to take banana plugs, or the supplied banana plug adaptors for use with bare wires. I don't see why they wouldn't work with all banana plugs.
The optical and coaxial inputs seem slightly louder than the RCA input, but not by much. If you have an Ultra, you can try all three connection methods and see which you prefer.
thank you so much, just realized im in the wrong spot forum wise. everyones bananas are sticking out too far but by this point they have found some solutions.
