I use my WiiM with my desktop computer over optical and via Bluetooth for music sometimes. It would be nice if there is an option to decouple the volume and have separate volume controls for each input source!

You can set the "Per-Source Volume Control" in the settings input page

I now have a usecase for per-source volume control too and noticed it doesn‘t work when switching to Bluetooth, at least on my Amp Ultra. For example Ethernet is set to 20, HDMI ARC is set to 30. It works when switching between Ethernet and HDMI ARC, but when switching to Bluetooth it always stays at the same volume from the input source before (20 when coming from Ethernet or 30 when coming from HDMI ARC).

I will use a preset for Bluetooth input with a set volume.
Or you could potentially set the volume to 25 for both other outputs and tune them up and down with the pre gain, and tune the Bluetooth the same way.
(I'm not being serious here, but, technically you could 🤣🤣)
