Download to phone via app

I would love the ability to download songs or an album to my phone via the app (sourced from USB attached storage). This way, I can leave the house with locally stored music easily. See the app Orange Squeeze for an example of this functionality on a raspberry pi.

I know this doesn't address your specific request, but on my phone I have a copy of my FLAC library in .mp3 format. Whenever new music is added to my library for the WiiM I'm in the habit of also making a copy on my phone, so I'm never without my latest music additions.
