Albums added to my Amazon music library are not showing up in the WiiM home app. This functionality was working perfectly but stopped about a week ago when Amazon changed its user interface. It seems the change from adding music with a “+” sign to liking it with a “❤️” broke the add album functionality. When I like songs with “❤️” they show up instantly in the WiiM home app. However when I like an album it does not show up. I signed out of my Amazon music account deleted and reinstalled the WiiM and Amazon music apps but add album still doesn’t work. I just submitted a feedback ticket. Hope this can get fixed soon. Liking individual songs to add an album is a real pain!

Hi! The same thing happens to me! I bought the Wiim Ultra a few days ago and I have the same problem with Amazon Music. The Wiim Home app does not see the albums that I have bookmarked in the Amazon Music App, but it does see old albums that have now been deleted from my list. Has anyone managed to solve the problem?

Submit a ticket to WiiM and see what they have to say about it.

If you have another phone, tablet or PC, are the changes reflected in the Amazon music app on those different instances?

Edit: I’ve just tried adding an album to my music on my iPad Amazon Music app, and liked a track on it. I then went to my Android phone Amazon music app, and that album didn’t appear in my library, although the liked track was shown as liked. It took a good few attempts of trying “refresh my music” in settings, going back and forth between the apps before it finally showed up on my phone. So, even just using Amazon’s own music app, it can take a while and some persuasion to sync the devices. If you’re contacting WiiM, see if they can introduce an equivalent “refresh my music” or somehow otherwise impact that backend syncing between the Amazon and WiiM apps, but I guess their hands are tied by the api Amazon make available to third parties. Worth asking though…

Yes I also tried what you suggested, but nothing, the Wiim app continues to see other things. However, I opened a ticket and they responded to me like this:

"The current Amazon Music API has some limitations, which is why only a portion of your collection’s albums or playlists are displayed.
The Amazon team plans to release a new API that will support more advanced features and have fewer limitations. This new API is currently in beta, and we will integrate it once it becomes official."

I don't actually know since when this problem has been there, but let's hope it gets resolved as soon as possible.

As I said above, the amazon music app on other devices (and even Alexa) displays the same tardiness in updating My Music entries - hopefully the new API has a means of expediting the changes across all access points.

So let's hope for the best, since with Wiim Home I can't use Apple Music, which I've been using for ages but which I found myself having to change.
