Caveat: Some audiophile enthusiasts report that replacing the WiiM Pro Plus power supply yields minimal audible change in many systems **especially when using digital outputs or a DAC downstream**— your mileage may vary based on system sensitivity and noise-floor demand.

My own experience using a Pro and a Pro Plus running in bit perfect configuration into external dacs (coax out into dac) is by adding a LPS to them (2 different set ups) the noise floor is reduced and I “get more of the music” beyond saying it’s an improvement in listening, it’s most obvious to me as I noticed that I was after changing from supplied SMPS to LPS to the Wiims in their respective systems that I was running the amps at lower volumes on the volume knob so to speak whilst not hearing any noticeable difference loudness wise with my ears … caveat of course my ears my set up my rooms so now I have the best listening I’ve experienced with my kit and streaming

If I understand your comment you are saying I’m making it up Or do I misunderstand your comment ?
Don't bother, it's pointless. I connected a linear power supply, and both I and my wife, who couldn't care less, could hear the difference. I then reported this in another thread, but other than speculating about measurements, I got nowhere.

Thanks for your responses.

You can also read the topic. ;)

I believe that you hear a (positive) difference, as long as you know yourself, you are switching to a different setup (e.g. the one with LPS).
It could look different, if somebody else would switch for you and you would not know which system (with or without LPS) is running.
It is widely known as psycho acoustics effects…
I am not saying you making this up, but it could be that your ear/brain is tricking you.
As long you think it sounds better, all is good (for you)… 👍🏻
