It consume .5W on standby.Hi there,
Where could I find some info about the energy consumption in standby mode of the WiiM Ultra ?
Thanks.
Thanks for the info.It consume .5W on standby.
Having attached usb disk consume 3.5W at standby. Is electricity in your country expensive? I have so many smart gadget including lights, sprinklers, streamers, camera, tv and appliances hardly noticeable in electric bill. Thanks for the info.
Do you know if having a usb disk attached does affect energy consumption in standby ?
That seems unlikely. That would be more than the Amp.Sorry, but .5W is not correct, it consume round about 5 Watt in standby.
Where did you get 5W?Sorry, but .5W is not correct, it consume round about 5 Watt in standby.
During your test, did the Ultra's screen show a clock?Hallo, 230V Mains Plug/ AC Powermeter/ Mains Cord, operation 5W, standby 4.9W during 30 Minutes after switch off to standby, always the same consume. There is no deep standby mode measureable, always 5W.
Greatings
It all adds up and electric energy is much more expensive in Europe than in e.g. the US.TBH if energy cost is your concern, things like the clock on the microwave or oven tend to be far less eco friendly than a Wiim on standby, same for outdoor lights etc..
Outdoor lights fair enough but I don't think an LED clock on a microwave or oven is going to consume 3W or more.TBH if energy cost is your concern, things like the clock on the microwave or oven tend to be far less eco friendly than a Wiim on standby, same for outdoor lights etc..
You'd be suprised, I have a very cheap Microwave and on standby it uses almost 30w to light up the clock and open door button.Outdoor lights fair enough but I don't think an LED clock on a microwave or oven is going to consume 3W or more.
That's rather irrational, to say the least. When I see a topic power consumption, it just makes me laugh.
I currently pay around $0.15 for a kw/hThats a lot, how much You must pay for 1 kw per hour, here in in Germany we paid round about .5 Euro per kw/h, 50 Eurocent
